RHOA Stars Kenya Moore & Porsha Williams Argue Over Porsha’s Activism

Kenya and Porsha’s truce didn’t last long.

“Real Housewives of Atlanta” stars Kenya Moore and Porsha Williams fell out, again. The majority of this took place thanks to the last reunion. Although they were attempting to form a friendship through motherhood, things went left pretty quickly. Porsha took issue with how Kenya came for Tanya Sam. To Porsha, this was proof that Kenya hasn’t really changed that much. So she sided with Tanya.

Porsha also had a couple of heated moments with Kenya at the reunion. So it was made pretty clear that the budding friendship ended not too long after it started.

Perhaps this is why Kenya and Porsha’s recent exchange on social media isn’t surprising to most.

It all started after a RHOA viewer was critical of Porsha’s activism on one of Cynthia’s Instagram posts (Cynthia has now closed the comment section). The person said they can’t take Porsha seriously because she didn’t even know what the Underground Railroad was years ago. And they believe Porsha was willing to be arrested multiple times whole protesting because she’s trying to clean up her image and she needed a storyline.

In response to this, Kenya wrote, “👀 .”

Porsha and Kenya clash, again.

When Porsha saw the comment and the fact that Kenya replied with the eyeballs emoji, she was outraged. In response, Porsha called out the commenter. She wrote, “Is it really worth bringing up an irrelevant moment from the past to try and discount what I’m doing now to help create a better future for ALL of us??? Praying for you.”

She then called out Kenya, “@thekenyamoore, you should be ashamed of yourself trying to bring attention to this disgusting troll!!! You actually felt compelled to respond “👀 ” to this lie? You want people to pay attention “👀 ” to this mess? Shame on you. You knew people and blogs would follow this. You should be supporting me as a fellow black woman trying hard to change this 🌎  and instead you’re the least supportive person ever!!! If you’re going to spend time bringing awareness to anything, try something positive in life…oops I forgot misery loves company. I’m going to say extra prayers for you”

In response, Kenya wrote, “@porsha4real over 👀  really? I support you and I 💯 support the movement and will follow REAL leaders not storylines. So be REAL on and off camera. REAL change starts with YOU. Let’s be REAL apologetic to @evamarcille who has been a REAL activist before she ever heard of you. Let’s be REAL that you said u would beat her a*s after #BLM and @Kandi behind her back with #thegirloverthere after she privately shared big change @Bravo for us ALL. I’ve shown you nothing but love to you and PJ for 3 years on and off camera. We saw the REAL you at the reunion. @me in a scene bc it’s all for show for you right? #REALfacts #WeAllWinTogether #Idontdofakebeafs (sic)”

It’s become clear to me now that Kenya’s whole life is centered around RHOA. Since everything she does is for RHOA and all about keeping her peach, she wrongly assumes that is also the case for everyone else. She is truly a dark soul and I hate that she’s been given a platform to spew her evilness by Bravo. But then again, this is the kind of black woman Bravo loves, right?

Agree 100%. She has nothing else going on besides the show, even if Porsha is making this her SL, it’s way more than what Kenya is doing. IMO

Exactly, it is extremely sad that black people are always being attacked by other race’s, but the most sickening of all is when black people are attacked by each other, I give Porsha a standing ovation for going out there putting up a fight for black women and men and children, who have lost their lives to police brutality. What is the slime ball Kenya doing but doing what she always does and that is degrading other black women, Kenya really turns my stomach, she needs to build up her self esteem and try to be more encouraging in helping others, she is 50 years old, GROW UP.

Things like this shouldn’t even happen during times like this. The negativity in our own community is so disappointing.

The audacity of Kenya accusing someone of doing something for a storyline when that’s all she’s been doing since she’s been on the show!

These Bravo shows are so toxic. I really wish we would all stop watching all of them. All these black women do is tear each other down and they get paid for it. Then Andy grins like Chester Cheetah while they do it even more at the reunion in ball gowns. How despicable.

Agree! Bravo needs an overhaul of all the HW shows. Every single franchise has been nothing but toxicity.

Kenya is one of the reasons I don’t feel there’s a need for me to watch this show anymore. I feel the same way about Candiace on RHOP. Honestly, this whole franchise is way too negative for me. No happy person sits back and watches black women being arrested while protesting and assumes the absolute worst. I hope more people withdraw support from these kinds of shows. All it does is make women like Kenya think their behavior is justified because they get paid for it.

Porsha should have ignored her. Kenya wanted attention and needs another beef since Nene is off the show. You don’t give negative people any power over you. Kenya is someone you have to ignore.

Kenya is a mean bitter b-tch who can’t get or keep a man no matter how much she “twirls”. Her “husband” Marc made a fool out of her on RHOA when he clearly stated he didn’t want to be with her. The way he treated her on TV was embarrassing and humiliating and she can never play it down. She tries to pretend that things are better between them but she knows his true feelings for her. She is the mother of his child so he will keep a relationship with her on HIS terms. He will spend time with them in Atlanta, make her feel like the fool she is and hop on a plane back to New York EVERY time! Kenya dear you are his sidepiece piece in Atlanta
    Dah-ling! Now twirl on that!

    • Uh huh. Ok

      September 14, 2020 at 6:30 pm

How many men you have? women are always talking about who can’t keep a man. And if you do have a man don’t be so smug because you just never know

Porsha is doing this for a storyline. Period. Why would a mother to a toddler put herself, her daughter, and mom’s life in danger by continuing to go to Kentucky and get arrested. She’d rather put box braids in a 15 month old baby’s hair and risk giving her the corona virus. I applaud her and everyone else protesting the murder and non arrest of the officers who killed Breona Taylor. At the same time, if Porsha, Yandy, and trae weren’t so called “celebrities” I doubt they’d continue going to kentucky to get arrested. Furthermore, yeah Kenya is alot to deal with at times, but let’s not pretend that Porsha wasn’t shading Kenya the entire last season all the while kissing Nene’s a-s. Oh and was too dumb to know the underground railroad wasn’t an actual train. Also attacking and assaulting MULTIPLE people on RHOA. I liked her in the beginning, but now not so much. Lastly, that photo of her going around where it appears she’s twerking for the cops (even though that wasn’t the case), why would she even bend over like that to begin with. Everything she does in done in an overly sexual manner. Grow up Porsha

You sound uneducated. Why risk it all for a little bit of money? She has another job, mutiple speaking engagements, and a hairline. She has a bloodline built in advocacy. This is her calling. Unfortunate Kenya decides to tear people down. Much like how the people in her life have done to her. And sounds like you have had the same issue as well to even believe that.

I’m just going to go ahead and say it. Kenya’s stans are just as evil and toxic as she is. They aren’t able to understand when to cut off the reality television nonsense. All they seem to think about is drama on silly reality shows. They truly forget what’s going on right now outside of petty reality television drama. All they do is sit online and worship Kenya and degrade any black woman she doesn’t get along with on the show. It’s a mental illness. Porsha has an entire life outside of RHOA. She’s changing while Kenya is not. She’s clearly not the same person who didn’t understand what the Underground Railroad was but the same people who won’t let that go probably don’t know much about their ancestors outside of the lies taught in school. This is why they feel comfortable being ignorant on the internet. They don’t know any better and they don’t know much about our people. If they spent more time learning about what our ancestors actually went through, they wouldn’t be on the internet now accusing Porsha of protesting for a storyline. Black women don’t have the luxury to play around with our freedom for a reality show. Kenya’s stans are degenerate idiots. I respect what Porsha and Yandy are doing. They are getting arrested for people who will never appreciate it. These stans offer nothing of value to the world just like Kenya doesn’t, just a bunch of demons who only have time to be evil like their god Kenya. If MLK was coming up today in this trashy social media era, he too would be accused of just wanting clout. Stupidity is another virus this country is currently losing to. Some of our people are so stupid it hurts. Lastly, Porsha and Yandy were protesting and getting arrested while their shows were in hiatus due to the pandemic. There were no cameras there. So how is this about storylines? You think Bravo would even allow Porsha to have an entire and positive storyline about BLM? No. Black women are only allowed to be one dimensional and dysfunctional at Bravo. This is why Kenya thrives in that environment. Anyway, those arrests are still on their records. They get my respect.

Well said!!!!!! This right here is why I don’t watch these shows anymore. It brings out the absolute worst in the people who watch it. RHOA fans are just as angry and mean spirited as the people on the show and the worst part is they are being nasty for free. At least Kenya is paid for her her nastiness. Anyway, there are too many great scripted shows out now anyway to support this ignorance. I’m really enjoying Lovecraft Country. What about you sis?

      September 15, 2020 at 3:51 pm

Ouch. Truth hurts though and I agree with you. I used to like Kenya but after this, I’m done. I can’t support her saying this about someone who has really been out here protesting. Kenya needs to learn how to turn off the RHOA shenanigans. Everything isn’t about a reality show. And to tell you the truth, I may stop watching. I don’t feel right watching black women fight with everything going on right now. It seems morally bankrupt for me to do so.

  11. Yeah I Said It!

    September 15, 2020 at 12:16 pm

LOL. Kenya is the one who does everything for a storyline. She needs to stop projecting and that goes for her stans as well. Can they go any lower? Eh, I’m sure they will.

They are all suspect…stop defending like one is better than the other. Bravo is what they do and provides them the opportunity do other things but rest assure that paycheck drives everything including their behavior good or bad.

      • Yeah I Said It!

        September 16, 2020 at 9:08 am

One is better than the other. Porsha is actually out here protesting and getting arrested for the cause while Kenya is on Instagram throwing shade like a high schooler. Do the math. LOL.

          September 16, 2020 at 10:05 am

Sad and pathetic that anyone thinks others are better or worse than them… have some self respect… they are on a show that pays them to cause drama and you are doing it for free!

          • Yeah I Said It!

            September 16, 2020 at 10:25 am

Nah, what’s sad and pathetic is one black woman tearing down another black woman for protesting and getting arrested for another black woman who was wrongfully killed in her own home by police officers. Nice spin though.

I think it’s sad how critical people are of Black women. We can’t even protest without people thinking we’re not genuine or we don’t have good intentions. I’m so tired of this. Shame on Kenya and the person who wrote that comment for doing this. Black women are never allowed to just be!

    • Anony

      September 15, 2020 at 2:48 pm

And shame on you and the violent airhead that you so obviously worship, who accused a strong black woman(Kandi) who gave her a job, of trying to drug and rape her on national television. I’ll say it again for the ones in the back, “EVERYONE ON HERE IS ENTITLED TO THEIR OWN OPINION”.

      • Vanessa

        September 15, 2020 at 3:37 pm

Why are you responding to me? I was not even talking to you and I don’t worship anyone but God. I stand by what I said. It’s awful that black women are always judged so harshly that we’re not even allowed to protest in peace about things we’re passionate about without people thinking the worst about us. Shame on Kenya and the person that wrote that terrible comment. Black women should not be attacking each other right now, especially not about something this serious.

Eva is not an activist. And she got on the show and called Black women happy heads and made colorist remarks. Meanwhile, Porsha is one of the few housewives who has attended multiple protests and has even been arrested for the cause. Kenya is an awful person. She should work on herself and worry less about RHOA matters. She won’t be on this show forever but she’s working hard to ruin the little legacy she has left for it.

Kenya’s second response was stupid. She was clearly being messy with the eyeballs emoji. And she once again doesn’t get it. She’s making this about the stupid show and their stupid beefs. For her to take a serious issue like Breonna Taylor and make it about RHOA is gross. Also, Kandi’s little special about racism did nothing to change the fact that Bravo is a racist network and it’s currently being sued by other Black women. If anything, it just shows how complicit Kandi is. That special was tone deaf and embarrassing. I’m glad ratings are down for these Bravo shows. Also, Eva is a colorist who called black women nappy including Kenya. If anything, Kenya should be questioning her “activism” before Porsha’s. Kenya also needs to remember she’s violent too. She did threaten to knock Phaedra’s teeth out while she was pregnant. She also bullied Tanya last season. And let’s not forget how she did Kim Fields. She needs to sit this one out.

Didn’t Kenya just turn 50 years old? This behavior is not becoming for a 50 year old black woman. Porsha, Yandy, and other people are literally putting their own safety and lives on the line to get justice for Breonna Taylor. They don’t have to do that. Kenya needs to respect that and stop adding toxicity to the movement. I thought she was better than this but I see I was wrong. I thought she was just playing a character on the show but I see she’s not a nice person in real life either. Something is really wrong with this woman.
