‘Married to Medicine’ Recap: Contessa & Heavenly Continue to Have Tension

Toya warns Contessa about Heavenly. 

Heavenly shows up at Jackie’s office. She tells Jackie she hasn’t had her period in three months. And it’s ruined her interest in ***. She just hasn’t been motivated as of late. Jackie tells her that she may be experiencing menopause. They will draw some blood to measure all of her hormone levels. And then they can try the appropriate methods if she’s going through menopause. 

Toya and Contessa catch up as their kids play together. Contessa says she hasn’t spoken to Heavenly in months. She feels Heavenly crossed the line and she doesn’t respect her. It’s not cool that she discussed her marriage with strangers on the internet. And Toya wants Contessa to see her perspective, which is Heavenly is a snake who is not going to change. 

New chapters. 

Simone and Cecil go on a double date with Miles and his girlfriend Andrea, In a green screen interview, Simone says that this is the first serious girlfriend Miles has had. So they are happy to see him in a good space and growing up. Plus, they really like Andrea.

Anila and Kiran are devastated after their nanny of many years tells them she’s moving to Houston to be with her family. 

Is it time to get even with Heavenly? 

As the ladies head to the grand opening of “Heavenly Beauty,” Contessa talks to Toya and Simone about her fallout with Heavenly. Simone says she understands why Contessa is upset because Heavenly does bash her friends on social media. And Toya seems to think Heavenly won’t stop her ways until someone does it to her. 

Contessa is rubbed the wrong way when she realizes Heavenly didn’t ask her to model the wigs. However, Heavenly says it just made sense to only have the women she talks to model. Regardless, Heavenly doesn’t let anyone ruin her big night. And she’s celebrating that she landed a long-term contract with a company that runs 25 funeral homes.
