Mimi Faust’s relationship with Stevie J. has been one of the most controversial highlights of the reality television hit Love And Hip Hop Atlanta since the very first episode. One of the reasons why the couple was able to strike a nerve in so many people is that they were seemingly caught up in a love triangle with Joseline Hernandez. Mimi looked absolutely silly to many because she continued to try to make things work out with Stevie J., despite catching him sleeping with his own artist.
Although Mimi has caught a lot of heat for her involvement in what appears to be an on and off again relationship of 15 years, Mimi has always claimed that she held on to Stevie J. for the sake of their daughter Eva. Mimi came from a single parent home and she obviously wanted different for her daughter. However, Stevie J. seems to behave like the typical industry man and involve himself with numerous affairs with women outside of his relationship with Mimi. And it’s clear that Mimi isn’t the only woman Stevie J. has been unfaithful to. Even rapper Eve cites infidelity as her reason for calling off her engagement to the producer.
The criticisms seem to have gotten to Mimi, as she was seen just hours after the Reunion show going off on her critics in a video rant. Laced with lots of profanity and anger, Mimi claimed then that women should not be so quick to judge her since all women have shared the same experience and have been cheated on before.
Well now she takes that rant a little bit further, as she claims in a recent interview with The Jasmine Brand that quite frankly, all men cheat, and that’s pretty much why she stayed with Stevie J. all these years.
After announcing that she is writing a dating book entitled Warning Signs, Mimi says:
“I don’t know a man that doesn’t cheat, do you? I don’t know any! And it might be the lifestyle I’ve led or the people I’ve met or the people I tend to surround myself with. I don’t know any. I’m sure there might be some out there. I just don’t know any. My father on down. I don’t know one.
LOL really Mimi?! So all men cheat…and you know this how when you keep dating the same man for 15 years. Shut up.
I hate when women make bad choices in men and then blame that on “what all men do.” That’s so immature to me. All men don’t cheat but it’s not like she’s ever even dated a man. So how would she know what they do? And Stevie has shown her on more than one occasion that he is not a man.
Sigh. I wish she would just stop trying to explain herself. She stayed with Stevie because she’s weak. And her little comment about men cheating just proves that even more.
All men do NOT cheat. If Mimi wants something different, she’s going to have to do something different. And that means stop dating the same kind of men. I mean seriously, why would you date a man in the industry if you want someone that’s faithful? That’s like dating Diddy when you want that low key good dude that comes home every night. It’s not going to happen.
No Mimi, all the men that YOU DATE cheat. Sounds like you’re the real problem boo.
I think a lot of men do cheat. Not all, but most. But I think the ones in the industry have the highest likelihood to do it. She needs to step outside the box and try dating someone who isn’t affiliated with the business.
Girl BYE. And she is the last one that needs to be writing a dating book. She has no advice to give because she damn sure doesn’t know what she’s doing herself. That’s clear.
It amazes me how she’s finding any and every excuse for why she keeps dealing with Stevie. No one cares anymore Mimi. We get it, you’re his bottom b-tch. Whatever makes you happy.
Why is she coming out with a dating book called Warning Signs when she clearly ignores them herself?
What the hell is she talking about. All men do not cheat. She needs to have several seats on that one.
