RHOA Recap: Kenya Shuts Down Marlo + Andy Drops a Bomb About Marc

Kenya announces her pregnancy.

She says that the baby will be due later this year. Since she’s still nervous about it, she doesn’t want to speak on much now.

For her best interests, she will say more when she gets to a safe time in her pregnancy.

Everyone congratulates her on the big news.

Sheree says that she wore sweats a lot because she likes being comfortable.

When Andy asks Sheree what happened with She By Sheree, she says that it’s going to be more sweatsuit based.

Kandi then tells her that Andy meant what’s the status on the line, and Sheree gets testy.

She says Sheree wasn’t really clear and Sheree snaps.

“You weren’t clear.” – Sheree

Sheree says the line will be more active wear based.

When Andy asks when the new line drops, she says possibly in September.

Kandi stands her ground.

A fan of the show asks why Todd shaded Porsha during Kandi’s Essence cover party. Porsha ponders why Kandi even invited her if she still isn’t ready to move forward.

Kandi says that she wanted everyone to see how successful she is, so even Porsha got an invite.

Porsha says that Kandi actually stressed that Porsha is the one she wanted to show off for.

At this point, Kandi gets irritated and says that after what Porsha put her though last season, she has every right to be petty because Porsha could have “killed” her whole brand.

She begins to choke up.

“I don’t even think you know the level of what you did.” – Kandi

Kandi is trying to push past what happened but it’s hard because people have lost their careers over being accused of rape.

Porsha tells her that she has apologized and all she wanted to do was try to move forward with Kandi.

But Kandi feels like people are trying to rush her to be friendly with Porsha again and she doesn’t think it’s fair.

Still very emotional, Kandi says that Porsha’s apology doesn’t seem sincere. Porsha doesn’t feel like there’s much more she can do.

Then Kandi says that Porsha should have just said that she was flat out wrong.

“I need a sword, so I can just bleed out.” – Porsha

Andy says there seems to be a disconnect with Porsha’s apologies, and Porsha says she’s not apologizing again.

She then says Kandi is “just dragging this along.”

“Oh, victim Kandi.” – Porsha

“Victim Kandi? Girl, you are the victim of the year.” – Kandi

NeNe says that Porsha needs to put actions behind her apology to Kandi. Porsha the questions what action would that be.

“Well, I don’t know. That would be between you guys.” – NeNe

This conversation is wrapped up by Andy who says they will discuss it more later.

“Do we have to?” – Kandi

“Yeah.” – Andy

A writer then asks how Kandi feels about Mama Joyce still shading Todd. She says he was hurt by this and so was she.

Kenya gets Marlo all the way together.

Marlo comes out.

When she sits on the stage, Andy asks Marlo where she stands with Kenya.

She says they aren’t friends anymore and she feels they never were because Kenya used her to get under NeNe’s skin.

Kenya says that’s not true but her last straw with Marlo was when Marlo took jabs at her damaged relationship with her mother last season.

“Once somebody shows who they really are, that’s all you need.” – Kenya

This doesn’t sit well with Marlo. She says Kenya should be an actress. Kenya says she is and Marlo says she’s just a C character.

“This is not a moment.” – Kenya

Kenya says she refuses to be Marlo’s big reunion moment.

Marlo shoots back and says that Kenya has bad skin.

“No, my skin is perfect. It’s perfect.” – Kenya

“It’s awful, it’s awful.” – Marlo

That’s when Kenya says she looks like a man.

“Let’s not. You’re sitting up there looking like James Amos in a wig.” – Kenya

Then Marlo says that Kenya’s marriage is fake and Kenya says that maybe Marlo needs to stop sleeping with married men.

“You’re a one pony trick. Actually, you’re just a trick.” – Kenya

Kenya then brings up John, a man NeNe dated after she separated from Gregg.

“NeNe and her fell out because she tried to turn her John into a john.” – Kenya

She says NeNe and Marlo fell out after Marlo tried to extort NeNe. She says Marlo took pictures from her phone of past text messages between NeNe and John after getting John drunk at her place. Apparently Marlo threatened to show these texts to Gregg.

“He gave you $20,000.” – Kenya

Porsha smirks and looks pleased by Kenya’s handling of Marlo.

Marlo says it wasn’t right to do what she did.

NeNe says she doesn’t care because she’s back with Gregg. But she did not expect Marlo to go behind her back and talk to someone she dated. But Marlo did this after NeNe remarried Gregg. She does confirm that Kenya’s accusations are true. Marlo denies sleeping with John.

“And what is $20,000 to me? That’s my Neiman’s bill.” – Marlo

Kenya says Marlo has a square reader between her legs.

“Marlo, did he pay your Neiman Marcus bill?” – Andy

“Yes, he sure did.” – Marlo

Andy then asks Marlo where she stands with Sheree as of now. Marlo answers that she was getting back in a good place with Sheree, but then Sheree “went back over there to Kim.”

She say Sheree does not tell Kim when she’s wrong. She says NeNe and Sheree had “a bun” and Kenya checks her for not knowing that the word is actually bond, not bun.

Sheree throws a little shade at Marlo on the word bond.

“You had one before.” – Sheree

Andy drops a bomb on Kenya.

A viewer writes in to ask why Kenya’s husband s off limits when she’s said some foul things about other people’s husbands in the past.

She says she would do things differently now.

Porsha says that’s kind of unfair though and Kenya says Porsha herself has said some nasty things about her being single in the past. Porsha then again reminds her that she’s said some nasty things about her and her ex husband in the past.

Andy says it bothers him that she got married in secret when she’s on a reality show.

Kenya says this is how Marc wanted to do things. Apparently Marc’s parents weren’t there either. And she’s only met Marc’s parents on the phone because they live in a different state.

Everyone begins to side eye her.

She says they missed the wedding because they were on a cruise at the time. But she stresses again that her father wasn’t there either.

Porsha then asks why Kenya why she didn’t invite Cynthia to the wedding when they are supposed to be so close.

“Cynthia isn’t going to like the answer but Cynthia cannot hold water.” – Kenya

This hurts Cynthia and she says that she would not have told anyone.

“I think this says something about the friendship.” – Porsha

Kenya disagrees and says that she didn’t want to tell anyone at all because they were going to say she’s not really married and she’s having problems with her skin.

Marlo says Kenya is having problems with her skin.

“Struggle face, shut the h*ll up.” – Kenya

Andy says that it has to be stressful to be married to a man who doesn’t want to be on the show because he feel it’s a bad look for black women.

She says this isn’t true and the blogs made it up. Andy then drops a bomb.

“That’s what he said to my colleagues.” – Andy

Kenya is speechless at this point. It’s a very awkward moment for everyone, as Andy looks on waiting for her to respond. She doesn’t.

He then brings up how Kenya went off on the camera crew during the New Orleans trip.

Cynthia says that she didn’t like how Kenya treated her in New Orleans. Kenya apologizes.

A fan writes in and asks if Cynthia feels like Kenya is trying to control her. Marlo says yes.

“Says the devil.”- Kenya

Cynthia gets irritated and says no one can control her.

Marc’s nose ring comes up and Sheree says it was just odd.

“I would prefer my man to have a piercing than handcuffs.” – Kenya

“Well he has handcuffs if he’s living with you.” – Sheree

Andy asks who will be the next cast member to get married. Sheree says she might because Tyrone gets out of prison in a couple of months.

“Are you going to get married in prison?” – Kenya

“He’s waiting on his appeal.“ – Sheree

Porsha then makes things playful again and says that she may get married next. Everyone laughs but she says that she’s currently in a relationship.

Kenya tells her not to rush to get married like she did. Everyone, including Kenya, laughs.

Porsha and NeNe discuss their reconciliation.

A fan writes in and asks what changed for NeNe and Porsha to be back on good terms again.

NeNe says their issues weren’t big enough for them not to make up. Porsha says NeNe had her back through her divorce so she felt they needed to hash things out.

Andy asks wasn’t it that way with Kandi as well, but Porsha says Kandi won’t even have a one on one conversation with her like NeNe did.

Another fan writes in that NeNe wanted Porsha fired and NeNe says she that she didn’t say she wanted Porsha fired technically.

Porsha says she hinted at it.

“Okay, I receive it.” – NeNe

Sheree and Porsha discuss their fallout.

Andy brings up Porsha telling Shamea that none of the girls could be trusted, including Sheree. Porsha then points out that Sheree doesn’t even trust her. She also brings up that Sheree always shades her in green screen interviews.

Andy asks if she owes Sheree an apology.

Porsha says yes and to ask Sheree if she’s apologized for that.

Sheree says it doesn’t matter because she’s justifying her actions right now.

“I’m loyal to who’s loyal to me.” – Sheree

Cynthia throws a little shade.

“We get it. You’re loyal to Kim.” – Cynthia

Porsha then asks why no one has called Sheree out for not telling everyone she knew about Brielle’s video days before she posted it online.

Sheree says that they are talking about Porsha right now, but Porsha says they can talk about her now too.

Cynthia and NeNe say they noticed this and planned to address it.

Sheree says that she doesn’t have to go back and tell anyone anything if she doesn’t want to.

NeNe then says that Sheree should have told someone about that Brielle video before it was posted. She also says that Sheree nor Kim would have liked if someone came to their houses and made the type of video to post on social media.

Sheree admits this is true. So does Cynthia.

Porsha points out that Sheree not only knew about it, but probably laughed about it with Kim.

“You take your head up out of NeNe’s a*s right now, girl. I don’t owe you anything, honey.” – Sheree

“The perception is you don’t call Kim out when she’s wrong.” – Andy

She then says she has called Kim out about things in the past, and she holds everyone in the group accountable for their actions.

“Do you ever hold Kim accountable?” – NeNe

Sheree says no one gives her any bones or looks out for her. NeNe says that she gave her the heads up about what people were saying about Tyrone.

They then start arguing about what they did for each other back in the day.

She says she was more popular and got NeNe and Gregg into Falcons games and clubs.

And NeNe stresses that she wanted to be in a good place with Sheree and Kim when she returned for the tenth season.

“I came into the season with an open heart and open arms.” – NeNe

Sheree says that she doesn’t feel like she has to run back and tell people what Kim says because Kim has been loyal to her for years.

“I am the bone collector and I carry any bones I want to carry.” – Sheree

Andy then says it’s time to bring Kim out. NeNe says bring it on.
