Reginae Carter Responds to the Backlash

Brandon and Reginae fell out on last night’s episode of GUHHATL, and it’s all because Reginae didn’t like how Brandon behaved at Zonnique’s photo shoot.

At the shoot, Brandon made it clear that he did not care for Zonnique’s choice of an outfit.

When he began to make little snide remarks about Zonnique’s outfit, it just didn’t sit well with Reginae.

Reginae called Brandon a hater and mocked his credibility in the music industry by repeatedly asking him who he is and who he’s worked with before Zonnique.

In response, Brandon took a shot at Lil Wayne and told Reginae that he’s someone who could have saved her father’s music career.

Reginae threw some shade back but she reached her breaking point after Brandon suggested she should put her focus into Black Lives Matter since Weezy was currently receiving backlash for his controversial comments.

The retort angered Reginae, and she told production that she can no longer film scenes with Brandon. Later she called her mother Toya Wright and told her about the confrontation.

While many are Team Reginae, she did get called out on social media by viewers for calling her mother about the situation despite claiming grown woman status.

Here’s her response to the chatter:

  1. Toya raised her daughter right she was suppose to call her parent when a over grown as man tries to challenge her. It’s nothin Brandon cud do 4 lil wayne’s career but wheezy cud have helped him find him one!!

    1. She had no business speaking to a grown man like that. He was doubly wrong for entertaining the shenanigans and nonsense of a teenager. Silence is an answer too. This is what can get someone hurt or killed. Reginae does too much. Her checking T.I. showed me that she doesn’t have respect for adults.

  2. I just didn’t like how she lied after he read her. She knew he dragged her and she had no comeback so she lied and said he tried to fight her when he didn’t. That was really WACK.

  3. Reginae is very spoiled. So far the show hasn’t been a good look for her. As far as Brandon is concerned, it’s laughable that she let him rile her up the way he did. He has no clout and she shouldn’t have even cared about what he had to say.

  4. Tonya raised her daughter right she was suppose to call her parent when a over grown as man tries to challenge her. It’s nothing Brandon could do 4 lil wayne’s career but wheezy cud have helped him find him one!!

  5. I think this just shows how spoiled Reginae really is. She also has no respect for adults so…

  6. All I’m seeing is that Reginae doesn’t feel like she has to listen to anyone, not even her own mother. Toya told her not to get involved in the TI and Wayne situation, and she did anyway. She started talking crazy to Brandon first, so he let her have it and I don’t have an issue with that. I mean they both were throwing shade. But the fact that she tried to spin it and said he tied to fight her shows she will do anything to get her way. She needs to be checked by her parents. But they are too busy spoiling her to see the issue.

  7. Reginae just needs to keep it 100 and admit she got her a-s handed to her because he read her from left to right. Running to Toya ain’t gon erase that dragging.

  8. Hearing about growing up hard and growing up hard are two completely different things. If Reginae doesn’t learn the difference her mouth is going to get someone seriously injured or killed.

  9. Regina is a Sh-t starter! Grow the f-ck up why don’t ya Luv luv luv lil WYned talent but he’s gotta keep his lil princess in check! Straight teen Brandon on this one

  10. Most of ya’ll need to shut up! Ya’ll are just haters cause of who she is. She was defending her friend and didn’t bring Ms Deb, Wacka or anybody else but him up. He should’ve shut up and stopped acting like he is Zonnique’s manager. He is supposed to be a vocal coach and he was acting like an unprofessional lil big azz bish.
