Dutchess struggled with the backlash.

After Dutchess quit “Black Ink Crew,” she remained a target for a lot of the people who remained on the show. Not only would they throw jabs her way on social media, but they still came for her on the show as well. Plus, she still gets backlash on social media from viewers. Dutchess revealed it could be a lot at times. But she’s remained focused and she opened up her own tattoo shop

Now she has another business venture she updated her followers about.

A production company was created.

Dutchess has started her own production company. She announced this on Instagram while also sharing her first film.

In a caption, Dutchess wrote, “I never really take the time to celebrate my accomplishments. I deal and have dealt with so much negativity, bullying, and abuse that its forced me to hide some of my greatest accomplishments. One of those amazing experiences is co-writing, executive producing, and acting in my first. It wasn’t easy and a lot of people counted us out, thank God they couldn’t count! The movie is amazing far beyond expectations! Last year me and my partner went to ABFF as spectators, we were looking for talent, crew, anything that we could to help make this film better and we got absolutely NOTHING. Some wasted our time, some thought they’d waste our money and others just overlooked us. But look at God, not even a year later we did it and not only did we do it but we are a feature in this years ABFF.”

She added, “This movie was written by us, created by us, and we are so proud of what we’ve all had a hand in creating. My beautiful kings and queens WE need your support to really elevate this movie so please join us in making this continued dream a reality. Follow my production company page @ambitiousdaydreams”
