Reality television has been stressful for Tamar Braxton.

Tamar Braxton has been through a lot. In fact, the R&B singer and “Braxton Family Values” star attempted suicide earlier this year. It was said in reports that what pushed Tamar over the edge was seeing the trailer for “Get Ya Life.” In the trailer, Tamar was emotional about her strained relationship with her family. She was also protective of her relationship with David Adefeso. And she was hoping that a dream coach named Goli could help her figure her life out.

She wasn’t happy with where she was in her career. And she had been vocal about the issues she was having with WE tv.

Tamar didn’t feel like she nor her family members were compensated fairly for “Braxton Family Values.” And she also believed the show had caused too many problems between family members.

She hasn’t been in the best place with her sister Traci Braxton. Things even got violent between the sisters at Trina Braxton’s wedding.

Tamar Braxton changed her mind about Goli.

While Tamar wanted “Get Ya Life” to show her journey into figuring everything out, it just became another source of stress for her. She took issue with how the show was edited. Plus, David clashed with Goli quite a bit while filming. He didn’t really understand what dream work was. And since it didn’t have Christan roots to his knowledge, he repeatedly tried to warn Tamar against it.

However, at times, Tamar felt as if Goli’s methods were helping her. She also felt like she was starting to make sense of the dreams she was having.

But David’s family thought what Goli was doing was actually witchcraft. And when he expressed this to Goli, she got really upset. Before the end of the show, she decided she could no longer work with Tamar. Clashing with David only made things harder.

Interestingly enough, Tamar recently had some things to say about David and Goli.

On Twitter, someone tweeted Tamar and said that they needed a dream coach like Goli because they were “doing the work.”

In response to this, Tamar wrote, “No we wasn’t. It was a whole scam that big back set up to bring drama. I know y’all hate him…And we STILL don’t talk but I thank God for David and his family. They saw right through it. Those people are evil & they WANTED David to look angry and controlling. ??‍♀️ ”
