Dr. Eugene Harris set the record straight.
Toya Bush-Harris and Dr. Eugene Harris were excited when their custom-built house was finished. Eugene had the dream pool and grilling area he always wanted. And Toya was happy to have a two-story closet to fit all of her fashions. They also loved their neighborhood. Toya even joined the tennis team and enjoyed playing the sport every day. So people were shocked when it was revealed the couple had put the house up for sale.
When they were asked what was behind their decision to sell the house at the reunion, Eugene said he didn’t want to talk about it.
Months prior, Quad Webb had accused Toya of taking out a personal loan for the pool. She also said that she didn’t believe that Toya could actually afford the home. This was in response to Toya drunkenly calling Quad’s former place a “bullish*t a*s apartment.” Eugene didn’t appreciate Quad saying that Toya “begged, borrowed, and stole” to get the house. After he expressed this on Twitter, Quad clapped back.
The house was sold recently. And while some fans of the show think that the couple may have pocketed a lot of money in the current real estate market, others think they didn’t make much from the sale.
But Eugene responded to someone about this on Instagram recently.
After someone wrote that the couple bought the home for $2.6 million and sold it for $2.9 million on the Married to Medicine Source fan page, Eugene wrote, “Do a bit more research before you put out numbers. Try again!”
Interestingly enough, Eugene did like a comment that claimed Toya and Eugene made just under a million.
