Destiny Payton-Williams Responds After LAMH Fans Accuse Her of Trying to Be Melody Holt

Destiny Payton-Williams responded to the backlash.

Destiny Payton-Williams and Melody Holt used to be good friends. However, cracks in the friendship began to show during the previous season of “Love & Marriage: Huntsville.” Destiny accused Melody of distancing herself while the cast wasn’t filming new episodes. As for Melody, she said she prefers alone time when the show is on hiatus because she needs to protect her mental health. At times, it’s not easy to film a reality show with her ex-husband Martell Holt.

On the current season, Melody is ready to wash her hands of Destiny. She told Kimmi Scott that she heard Destiny and LaTisha Scott talking about her while they were in Los Angeles. So she doesn’t think Destiny is a real friend. Plus, Melody also has some questions about the nature of Destiny’s relationship with Martell.

Apparently, Melody may not be comfortable with Martell going over to Destiny’s house to hang out. And she’s not certain that there isn’t anything inappropriate going on between them.

While some LAMH fans have been debating the fallout between Melody and Destiny, others have been pretty critical of Destiny just one episode into the new season. In fact, they had a lot to say about Destiny recording music. Some even accused her of trying to be like Melody since she’s also been recording music since the show’s debut.

Well, Destiny hopped on Instagram to clap back. And she wants fans to know this isn’t her first time in the studio.

She posted a photo of herself in the studio back in 2013. In the caption, Destiny wrote, I may be a little rusty ? but I’m NOT NEW to this! Took some time off (7 years to be exact) to get married/divorced, have a baby, build a brand, etc. The great poet (Beyonce) once said…Give me a minute and I’ll be right back! 1. I’m so sick of who’s a good-better-best friend on this show. To be honest, no one can call themselves friends.
Melody has issues with anyone she feels is against her. LaTisha keeps stirring that pot because she’s trying to make Melody something she doesn’t want to be with her.
How many jabs does it take to get to the. center of she doesn’t want to be your friend LaTisha? At this point it’s just stupid to me.
Destiny and Melody was a situationship. Destiny is Marty’s friend first and she tried to check him for his bullswankey concerning his moves. Is Melody privy to that? Probably not at the time but to outright accuse her of messing with Marty is a reach. Nobody wanted Marty but her and Arionne. That’s who she should be mad at. Marty was in that for years. The pandemic didn’t slow Marty down so why be mad at Destiny?
If that sister wants to sing she should gone on and do it. Her & Mel coulda collabed on a song or maybe an entire album.
Destiny left her alone and that’s all she can do.

  2. I think at this point, melody doesn’t trust anyone. And maybe she shouldn’t. The show has really become toxic. ALL of the kids will be affected

  3. What’s so sad about this whole thing is, everytime Melody gives a platform to who she thought were her friends, they get “Camera Happy” and want the fame!!! Interesting that Latisha and Destiny both trash talk the very person who bought them in! See this is why in these cases, you can’t help people. The jealousy of Melody’s strength and empowerment is too much for them!! Period!

    1. Melody is trash – she got a taste of the limelight and turned into an entitled ignorant bully. She ain’t no diva…latisha and destiny don’t owe her nothing
