Dr. Contessa Metcalfe and Dr. Heavenly Kimes are no longer friends.
The ladies of “Married to Medicine” return in July. After the trailer for Season 9 dropped, it’s clear that some of the rumors were actually true. In fact, Dr. Heavenly Kimes and Dr. Contessa Metcalfe have a heated moment in the preview. After they are separated by the others, Heavenly screams, “F*ck you!” And Contessa responds with, “Come say that sh*t to my face!” Later on in the trailer, Dr. Jackie Walters is hoping that the former friends can work things out. She asks Heavenly, “How do we fix the friendship?” Heavenly answers, “Jackie, I don’t know if we can.”
Dr. Eugene Harris caused a stir months ago when he said that the husbands will have some drama of their own this season. Turns out, he’s the one who was having the drama. At a Halloween costume party, Dr. Kiran Sajja says to Eugene, “You guys moved.” Eugene claps back with, “Everybody got d*mn moved!”
Rumors made their way to the group, again.
With every new season, comes new rumors and gossip. While talking to Anila Sajja, Quad Webb tells her, “The streets of Atlanta are talking about her sleeping around.” It’s not yet revealed who Quad was referring to. However, interestingly enough, there are rumors floating around about Quad as well. Contessa asks, “There’s a rumor about Quad, too?” Dr. Simone Whitmore answers, “That she slept with one of her contractors.”
An altercation may have really happened at Quad Webb’s holiday party and Toya Bush-Harris was involved.
Toya Bush-Harris and Eugene appear to be going through a tough time in their marriage. But it may stem from Eugene being burned out from his career. Toya says, “You were working 12-hour shifts, sleeping for the other 10 hours.” Their son then questions why they have been arguing so much. In another scene, Eugene tells Dr. Damon Kimes, “I don’t know how much longer I can do this.”
Eugene then has another intense moment with someone else where he says, “Call me a motherf*cker one more time.”
Anila seems to be staying out of the group’s drama. But she’s hurt and devastated when her home is broken into and sentimental items are taken.
The end of the trailer shows the altercation that took place at Quad’s holiday party. And it looks as if it’s Toya throwing down with newbie Audra Curry. Toya mushes her at the very end.
“Married to Medicine” Season 9 premieres July 10 9/8 c on Bravo.

Quad is always talking, never backs up the stuff she says about the others.
Eugene works too much, he needs a break.
I’m still keeping my expectations low. I feel like this show peaked years ago.
