Jackie Christie clapped back after a fan accused her of not having a storyline on “Basketball Wives.”
Jackie Christie has been receiving backlash from “Basketball Wives” fans. On the current season, she’s been pretty vocal about her opinions when it comes to her friends’ love lives. In fact, Jackie invited Brittish Williams’ ex Lorenzo Gordon to DJ Duffey’s dating event. Brittish was not thrilled. And she felt like Jackie crossed the line due to her troubled history with her child’s father. Jackie apologized. She admitted that she just wanted to see Brittish and Lorenzo back together. So Brittish had to remind her that every man isn’t like Doug Christie. She loves her ex but he is too problematic for things to ever work between them.
Jackie also caused some drama in the group by discussing Angel Brinks’ relationship with Roccstar to Jennifer Williams and bringing up past comments made by Duffey. Roccstar was not happy when Jackie said that Duffey told her that Angel wasn’t happy in the relationship. Duffey did discuss the gender reveal non-proposal with Jackie. And she said that Angel was disappointed that it wasn’t a proposal but instead a third promise ring.
Angel confronted Jackie about her actions while the group was together at Brandi Maxiell’s food tasting. The result was her breaking down in tears after Jackie stood firm in telling her that her intention wasn’t to be messy.
With Angel being pregnant at the time, some fans took issue with Jackie’s actions. So they called her out on social media. One person even accused Jackie of being in other people’s business because she doesn’t have her own storyline. They wrote, “Jackie doesn’t have a storyline anymore with Evelyn [Lozada] and [Tami Roman] gone, so I guess they put her in charge of minding everyone else’s business.”
In response to this, Jackie wrote, “lmbo I am the story ???? ????”
Brooke Bailey also had an interesting response when a follower told her that Jackie needs to mind her business. And she appeared to defend Jackie despite the blowup they had while filming Season 10. She wrote, “She minds the business that PAYS her!!! ????”
