Just one year after Trayvon Martin was tragically shot and killed in his father’s neighborhood by George Zimmerman, justice hasn’t been served just yet. In fact, the case is still in progress, however, George Zimmerman and his legal team are fighting hard to do everything they can to paint Martin as a thug, and validate why Zimmerman shot and killed him although he was the one who pursued Martin first. Thankfully the judge in the case has made the decision to forbid Zimmerman and his counsel from using things such as Trayvon’s gold teeth, recent fights in school, and weed smoking as any evidence of a “troubled past.” USA Today reports:
A judge Tuesday refused to delay the June 10 trial of George Zimmerman, charged with second-degree murder in the February 2012 shooting death of Trayvon Martin.
Circuit Judge Debra Nelson, at a hearing on more than 20 motions ahead of the trial, also ruled that lawyers can’t mention Trayvon’s school records, past fights, marijuana use, ownership of gold teeth, or any photos or text messages found on the teen’s cellphone.
Nelson said she reserves the right to change the ruling during the trial if lawyers open the door to such issues. However, she said that she can’t imagine that any of these issues would be relevant.
Trayvon’s mother Sybrina Fulton and his grandmother were in attendance at the hearing, but both refused to talk to the media at the time.

Good. Trayvon’s gold teeth, weed smoking, and previous fights have NOTHING to do with his murder. Zimmerman’s fat a-s should have listened to the police and taken his a-s back home. He lost a fight and just like the coward he is, he killed him because of it.

I am really praying that this man is convicted I am so scared for my nephews as they grow up in this society with people like that MURDERER thinking they can kill black kids and get away with it.
I’m with you. I have a 13 year old brother and am terrified that this could happen to him one day. This man needs to be locked away for life.

This trial needs to hurry up. Zimmerpig id guilty for what he did. It was a racist act too.
I’m so glad Trayvon’s parents decided to fight for justice. Had they not have spoken up, Zimmerman would have gotten away. These people need to learn they can’t keep killing our sons.
Now lets see if the media covers this like the Jodi Arias trial.
This entire situation is sad.
Gold teeth and school records have nothing to do with what happened that night.
