Kenya Moore’s Landlord Puts Her on Blast, Money Problems Revealed

Kenya Moore money problems revealed? Kenya Moore became an instant reality TV star as a newbie on “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” While her new gig as a “Housewife” is working out well so far, despite the fall outs with Walter and Phaedra, Kenya Moore’s life outside of the show is nothing close to fabulous. Kenya recently got sued by her landlord for not paying the rent for her Atlanta mansion on time. Kenya denied the landlord’s claims yet her failure to show up to court allowed her landlord to win the case with ease. Despite the judge ruling in favor of her landlord, Kenya Moore told Wendy Williams she wasn’t going down without a fight. According to Access Atlanta, Kenya’s landlord Conya Dillon accuses Kenya of creating a “media circus” in order to keep herself relevant and tearing down her character at the same time in a motion Conya filed this past Friday:

“Defendant [Moore] has created a media circus in a desperate attempt to maintain relevancy as a reality TV personality while maliciously attacking Plaintiff’s character,” the filing states.

Kenya Moore isn’t twirling out of her home just yet as she is getting a new hearing on the eviction on July 9th. Here’s the kicker though. This is not the first time Kenya’s landlord has had to come after the reality TV star over late payment. The landlord filed an eviction notice back in January against Kenya for being behind on her rent, but the filing was kept under wraps and never became public knowledge until now. Kenya eventually paid up. However, Kenya’s landlord also claimed in her first court filing that Kenya was late paying her rent multiple times and was behind on other bills on different occasions.
