Kenya Moore is without a doubt one of the main reasons the last season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” was such a success, and to many it does make sense for Bravo to give the new housewife a bit of a raise for her contributions to the show’s record ratings. However, a recent report put out by Kenya’s own camp claimed she would be brining in $600k next season, while Porsha Stewart and Phaedra Parks would only be brining in $50k. Here’s the fishy report Kenya’s people sent to US Weekly that left many calling foul:
“Kenya is very happy to be back!” the source tells Us. According to the insider, Moore, 42, will also get a substantial raise for her contributions to the Bravo show’s success — a whopping $600,000 for the season, with additional bonuses based on ratings.
“NeNe [Leakes], Kim [Zolciak] and Kandi [Burruss] make $800,000 a season but they can make more for doing certain special things, like Kim taking off her wig,” another source previously told Us. “Phaedra and Porsha make $50,000 per season.”
However, a source informed us not too long after that report that it was total BS and not to believe the hype for a second:
“Kenya’s camp sent that story to US Weekly and the numbers are totally made up. NeNe Leakes is the highest paid housewife in the franchise and that’s not changing anytime soon. If it did, she would walk away in a heartbeat.
“Bravo is one of the best paying networks, no one on that show is making $50k. Funny Kenya’s people would make up such low numbers for her least favorite housewives and make no mention of Cynthia’s salary and then suggest Kim gets paid extra for not wearing wigs. The whole story reads like a terribly written bad joke.
“Lastly, Kenya has no clue how much anyone else is making besides herself. That’s not the kind of information any of the ladies would be willing to share.”
Welp, it looks like our source was spot on because Bravo head honcho Andy Cohen took to his Twitter account to confirm the report was totally bogus and Kenya is not getting paid $600k next season. Read the tweets from top to bottom:

Well that’s the problem. I don’t think Kenya has a publicist. She most likely wrote that herself and that’s why it was so obvious it wasn’t the truth. Real PR people know how to lie just as good lawyers.
