In a recent interview with the New York Post, Mimi addresses Stevie J’s comments about her relationship and she confirmed that as of now, she’s decided it would be best to keep her relationship with Chris hidden from Eva.
She also tells the publication that she doesn’t want people to label her as gay.
On her dating preference, she says:

On keeping her relationship away from Eva, she says:

“If I get really serious with Chris and we’re going to be life partners, of course I will let Eva know that this is something more than just mommy’s friend. I have to be very certain about that first … but if I can live through that whole s*x tape thing this is a walk in the park.”
So in a nutshell, this relationship really is fake so she doesn’t feel a need to tell her daughter about it. Makes sense.
