Things are coming together for Don.

Don is also playing some basketball with his son DJ at home.

Ashley joins in.

Not too long after, Don gets a phone call from his agent.

Turns out Don has been asked back for another season of the Amazon Prime show he’s been filming.

They are getting ready to send a script soon and Don has to head to New York to film the upcoming weekend.

“I didn’t expect it to go this far.” – Don

After Don hangs up the phone, he tells Ashley about his big opportunity.

Regardless of Don having to head to New York, Ashley is excited and plans on tagging along.

“Good job, Babe! My next Denzel Washington.” – Ashley

The gang feels like Ryan left them in the dark.

Back at the old 9Mag shop, Charmaine is happy to have Phor back around.

No one knows what Ryan has been up to as he has been spending time away working on the second shop.

Bella asks if anyone has seen the new shop. But no one has seen anything.

They also aren’t clear on if Ryan will keep the old shop open.

In a green screen interview, Van says he hopes Lily won’t return.

Phor says that since they are all the originals, they should be able to work at the new shop.

Junior isn’t convinced that Ryan won’t fire them again.

Van meets his daughter’s boyfriend Charles.

He’s 19 years old and Van wants him to understand where things stand with his daughter Briana.

“I trust my daughter, I don’t necessarily really trust you.” – Van

Van questions why Charles has been calling Briana boo and baby when they have known each other only for a month.

“What’s your intentions with my daughter when it comes to s*xual activities?” – Van

But Charles says it’s not about that. Briana is very smart and beautiful with a wonderful personality.

While Van understands this, he says that Charles will have to form a closer relationship with him if they are going to be together. The young man agrees.

Neek wants to be paid.

Charmaine and Neek go out on a date.

Neek is rocking an interesting new earring.

They discuss how busy Charmaine is now.

She does radio, TV and her own cooking channel on YouTube.

So 9Mag isn’t her only hustle anymore.

Neek is the CEO of his own tech firm. They are planning to work together to create an app for Charmaine.

But Neek explains that an app will cost around $30,000 to $50,000 to make.

Although Neek loves Charmaine, he wants her to still pay for his services. This irritates Charmaine.

The gang hangs out with Phor in the studio.

He tells them that he’s ready to get back into his music. Phor has been getting therapy to deal with depression.

Ryan has been missing from the shop for three weeks. But he invites them to attend the party celebrating the new shop. He will announce a surprise at the party.

None of them know what to expect.

Don then tells everyone about his acting gig. Everyone congratulates him.

Phor then plays a track that the gang inspired. The song is about family.

In a green screen interview, Phor says that he knows that the gang has had his back. They saved his life in Vegas and he’s happy to have their support.

Phor is also working on an album.

“I’m proud to be back.” – Phor

Charmaine promises to get the track played on her radio station.

Briana comes by to get her first tattoo.

It’s going to be a scorpion to represent her zodiac sign.

Van feels like his daughter is growing up too fast.

But he’s still willing to do the tattoo.

In a green screen interview, Van is happy to be cool with Ryan again. He’s back good with Jenn. And his daughter is on the right track. So life is good for Van.

Briana ends up loving her new tattoo.

It’s time for the invoices.

Charmaine is still feeling some type of way about Neek charging her for her app.

She feels like she needs to help him change his mind.

The best way to do this is to show Neek the value of all her contributions to the relationship.

Charmaine hands over invoices for everything she’s done. Neek laughs and points out that he could technically do the same.

Don makes it to New York.

He does a great job filming.

In a green screen interview, Don says that he can see himself living in New York.

Plus, the director is pleased with him.

He loves 9Mag but he has to also think about himself too.

Ashley says that she’s down to relocate if need be.

“Change is always good. Especially when it’s for the better.” – Ashley

It’s the day of the grand opening party.

Ryan prepares for the grand opening party for the new shop.

Don and Ashley make it there from New York.

Charmaine is impressed with the new shop.

So is Phor.

“I think Ryan blew this out of the water. I’m proud of him.” – Phor

When Van arrives, he says he’s not too worried about what’s to come. He’s happy in his personal life.

The announcer tells everyone to clap for the new 9Mag staff. The new employees come forward.

This throws off the old gang as Ryan makes his way to the stage.

Regardless, Junior congratulates him on the new shop.

Rachel returns.

Ryan’s mom and dad are also in attendance.

He knows his sister would be proud of him too if she was still alive. They toast to the new shop.

Not too long after, Rachel makes her way in.

When Charmaine sees this, she says this doesn’t bode well for the rest of them.

“We all know who running sh*t.” – Charmaine

Rachel hugs Ryan when she sees him.

Bella speculates on if they are back together. Meanwhile, Ryan and Rachel smile and take pictures.

But they tell her that they just took pictures. That’s all.

“So we can’t take a picture?” – Rachel

Ryan reveals some surprising news.

Later on, Ryan gets on the stage to give a thank you speech.

He has a big surprise that will “change 9Mag forever.”

Ryan says that he’s leaving the old shop in Van’s hands. This surprises everyone, including Van.

But Van is happy about this news.

He gets on the stage and promises that he’s going to do whatever he has to in order to hold it down.

In a green screen interview, Ryan says Van can be his own boss. The only person he has to holler at is Ryan.

But in the new shop, Ryan is the boss and it’s new energy.

The gang parties the night away. As for Ryan, he’s not sure if he’ll allow the cameras there to film or not.
