Carlos King hasn’t directly responded to the accusations made by Kandi Burruss.
Kandi Burruss and Carlos King’s relationship has been a hot topic lately for “Real Housewives of Atlanta” fans. After Sheree Whitfield and Marlo Hampton made controversial comments on “Reality with The King,” people suspected Carlos and Kandi are not on good terms. Kandi eventually confirmed this while answering questions from fans during a live session. She explained that her issues with Carlos have nothing to do with Phaedra Parks’ departure. And she clarified that Carlos did not have anything to do with that situation. However, Kandi accused him of trying to make an Xscape movie behind her back.
She alleged that Carlos never told her he was working on the movie for TV One. Kandi also accused him of trying to trick Mama Joyce into doing an interview for source material. And she ended their friendship once she found out what he was allegedly up to.
Kandi went on to say that she couldn’t believe how things unfolded because she helped Carlos years ago. And she said she was the first person who gave Carlos a chance to be a lead Executive Producer with one of her spinoffs. So she was just shocked by everything that allegedly transpired.
Was some shade thrown?
Considering Kandi’s past comments, some wondered if Carlos may have penned a shady tweet for her recently. The tweet came after “Real Housewives of Potomac” star Candiace Dillard Bassett tweeted about people taking credit for her success.
She tweeted, “When you’re stepping into new realms, onto greater stages, etc. be wary of those who may have HELPED
you but didn’t MAKE you along the way. YOU still did the work, faced the triumphs & tribulations…don’t let people hang on you be you (and they) think you owe them. You don’t.❤️”
Carlos responded, “Preach!!! I’ve been told by some folks ‘I made you’ or ‘I helped you’ when in fact it’s the opposite but the one who feels the need to bark, is the one who’s threatened by your bite. Oh but. God!”
He also reposted a photo of Sheree and LAMH star Martell Holt after they reportedly filmed a scene for the upcoming season of RHOA. Carlos captioned, “LOL and that’s why folks stay mad. They can’t escape me 💅🏾.”
It’s so weird to me how some people will hurt people but act offended when called out. A simple apology and my intention wasn’t to be malicious goes a long way.
Kandi is full of it. Carlos beefed up the “rumor” that Phaedra told people. Kandi knows Carlos is double dealing. He has talked about her and Todd. He used Phaedra to deliver that rumor, but Kandi didn’t go after Bravo because she didn’t want to leave the show. Kandi just needs to deal with him once and for all, and stop being passive aggressive.
Carlos has been picking at Kandi for months now. She finally responds and now he’s playing victim? Chile…
