RHOA Recap: Drew & Ralph’s Divorce Drama Begins + Affair Rumors Heat Up

Drew has people speculating.

The episode opens with producers asking Drew where she stands with Ralph. She says they are currently in a good place. However, producers don’t feel like Drew is being honest. When they ask Kenya if they think Drew has been acting like something is up, she says Drew has. And she thinks whatever is going on with her has everything to do with Ralph.

Marlo accompanies Sanya to her doctor’s appointment. Dr. Jackie Walters reminds her that this is a geriatric pregnancy. And Sanya worries she may have told everyone she was pregnant too early. And they have to hope she will continue not to have any complications. Regardless Sanya is so excited. She’s grateful Marlo was there to be supportive.

Ralph upsets Drew and Allison.

Drew attempts to explain to Ralph that it isn’t cool that he is still tight with Courtney. She believes Courtney called her a ***** and Ralph shouldn’t be okay with that. Ralph says Courtney hasn’t done anything disrespectful to him. So he doesn’t have a problem with her. And it’s silly for Drew to expect him to have problems with women just because she does.

At this point, Drew just feels as if Ralph is selfish and has no real understanding of loyalty. In contrast, she has defended Ralph many times within the group. She expected the same from him in return. So she storms off when she realizes that the conversation is going nowhere.

Ralph follows her to continue talking. Drew breaks down in tears out of embarrassment. Ralph questions why she is crying. He doesn’t think any of this is a big deal. She reminds Ralph she’s tired from filming Kandi and Todd’s movie, and he knows this. So he could have just been more supportive of Courtney.

Eventually, Ralph pulls Allison into the conversation. She tells him he should understand that Drew didn’t want to be addressed as a ***** and that’s the point he is not understanding. And this is problematic since Drew is his wife. She also starts crying. She blames Ralph for ruining what was a peaceful day in the house.

Marlo and Scotley are really feeling each other.

Kenya tells her father she’s thinking about using her last two embryos. He’s concerned about this but feels better when Kenya confirms she’s going to go the surrogate route if she moves forward. But since the embryos are with Marc, she has to have a conversation with him before doing anything. And since they aren’t in a good place, it’s an uncomfortable decision to make.

Scotley visits Marlo at the Le’Archive for the first time. In a green screen interview, she clarifies he isn’t her boyfriend. But they are dating. And things are still going very well. So this is the first time she’s ever invited a man to her business.

She invites Scotley to Kandi and Todd’s wrap party for “The Pass.”

Drew and Allison check Courtney.

Drew and Ralph go speak to her counselor for guidance. Ralph has moved out of the bedroom because he wanted “liberation.” Now he’s free and can live his best life since Drew likes it too hot at night anyway. He thinks this is fine and says they have married friends who did the same thing. Drew reminds him this couple filed for divorce. And Ralph jokingly asks, “Who hasn’t filed for divorce?” The counselor is speechless. He warns Ralph and Drew to get marriage counseling immediately to figure out if they even want to be together.

It’s the night of Todd and Kandi’s wrap party for “The Pass.” WNBA player Ty Young is there. She is the person Drew has been rumored to have had an affair with. They speak to each other briefly. When Allison spots Courtney, she makes it clear she has an issue. So Courtney pulls Allison aside. And she says Courtney needs to admit she called Drew a *****. Courtney says she said the word in reference to Drew, and Drew demands an apology. In a green screen interview, Courtney says she said whatever was necessary to get Drew to move on that day.

All three ladies decide to drop the heated conversation to prevent the party from going left.

Sheree, Drew, and Sanya have sad updates.

Drew hops on the stage to perform her single, “Already Know.” Producers then move on to the end-of-season updates. Kandi and Todd are still focused on expanding their movie-making resume. Kenya is expanding her empire with her new salon. Her divorce from Marc is ongoing and messy. He’s now trying to have the court reprimand her for contempt over their daughter Brooklyn. Sheree and Martell are “only committed to being friends.” And her fibroids have gotten smaller. As for Marlo, things are still really going well with Scotley.

When they get to Drew, it’s confirmed she and Ralph filed for divorce. Marlo, Sheree, and Kandi all say they heard Drew is dating Ty. Monyetta then tells producers that Drew told her she was going to talk to her crush if things didn’t work out with Ralph. When Monyetta asked who her crush was, she said Ty.

Sanya has a heartbreaking update. She unfortunately had a “traumatic miscarriage.” And it was devastating to tell her son she lost the baby. He was so hurt. However, the good news is Sanya is currently pregnant now. The whole family is excited to meet their rainbow baby.

When Sheree comes by to offer Drew support amid her divorce, she confirms her father died. She breaks down in tears and Drew hugs her.

Courtney goes there.

Headlines break about Love And Hip Hop Atlanta” star Mimi Faust accusing Drew and Ty of having an affair on social media. Ty and Mimi have been on and off for years.

Ralph says he can’t say too much about Ty because his divorce lawyer said he couldn’t. But they do have a “friendship.” Courtney says everyone knows Drew is a bisexual freak. And she probably only wanted Ralph to adopt her son so she could run off and be with women on Ralph’s dime. She also says Ralph has enough info about Ty and Drew for his divorce “discovery.” And she has pictures of Ty and Drew on her phone.

Drew is emotional about all of the drama. She says the gossip regarding her and Ty is something that was fabricated by Ralph. Regardless of the situation, the former couple confirms they are still living together and coparenting.

What are your thoughts on the season finale?

    1. Ralph is a control freak and an abuser. That’s as clear as the Son shines. Drew may be messy but she’s trying to get help. It is my belief that until you walk in a person shoes, you truly don’t know. What is shown is Drew has a lot of emotions but she has the right to hope that her sister circle would support her and not talk about her behind her back. And, they have all had messy relationships except for Marlo. So, to not understand a married woman who has kids. I am team Drew 1000%. I wish her the best and in the reunion preview, Ralph says he loves his wife. So, if they want to get back together and work it out, Praise God for that. Marriage is a Covenant and no man can judge that Covenant but God!

I wish them the best. I am so disappointed in Kandi this year because when it came to Todd and the other fiance’ that died she was willing to go to war. Now, that someone else is walking in those shoes, she is not supportive and she’s throwing gasoline on the fire. Disappointed Kandi, disappointed!

Marlo was truly right! You put your momma before your husband. So, you of all people should understand a marriage.

  1. This episode was a train wreck. The highs: Allison, Sanya’s heartbreaking scene but happy update, Sheree being real and vulnerable about her father but still supporting Drew while she was grieving too. The lows: Courtney’s weird hatred and obsession with Drew is hard to watch. The comment about her son was evil. Karma will handle that though. Ralph is gross. It’s even grosser watching women defend him and drag Drew. The Ty stuff is weird as well. Ralph has cheated on Drew throughout their marriage. So trying to paint Drew as some villain and cheater like Ralph didn’t cheat the entire time is an odd direction for the show to take. This has to be the worst season RHOA has ever had.

  2. Courtney is awful. She is not even needed on the show. Ppl like to say Marlo, Kandi, Kenya, etc. are dragging the show down. But I feel like Ralph and Courtney are the real problems.
