LHHMIA Recap: Shay Reconciles with Fabo + Marcus Confronts Safaree

Marcus Black and Brooke Valentine think Safaree is causing too much drama with his dating life.

Brooke Valentine is back in the studio, working with Music Producer Cool. Marcus does not like her new track because it features her singing about sleeping with a man who happens to be in a relationship. Marcus would rather Brooke sing about her current and happy life, which includes him, but Cool points out it’s about selling your music. Sometimes, not focusing on where you are currently works for an artist.

They switch topics once Marcus notices Brooke is distracted by incoming text messages. She is annoyed with Amara La Negra, Bobby, and Eliza Reign texting her about the recent blowup at her pajama party. Brooke thinks it’s time for Marcus to sit down with Safaree and urge him to stop causing problems with the women he’s juggling.

Estelita puts Shay on blast to Emjay.

Emjay catches up with Estelita. They briefly discuss Amara’s bad luck with Safaree. In Emjay’s opinion, it is likely that Amara is just receiving her karma. While he doesn’t want her to hurt, he is glad she knows what it feels like now.

Estelita reveals she is upset with Shay because she hasn’t heard from her when she was her backbone during Shay’s trying times with Fabo. Estelita tells Emjay that it’s true that Fabo had a fiancee when Shay came into the picture. And he also was sleeping with another woman in Miami as well. According to her, these are things Shay told her.

Gaelle still doesn’t come clean to Florence.

Florence and Gaelle talk about Claudia being a “rat.” It’s hard for Flo to digest that Claudia told Hawt Topic’s cousin she was behind on her salon’s rent. Gaelle says she handled Claudia for her sister. However, she tells producers she will tell Flo she hooked up with Claudia later. And she only did it to prove how disloyal Claudia was.

Shay is discussed. Flo was happy to help Shay try a mambo to help her during her dark times with Fabo. Gaelle says she likes Fabo, and he’s too good for Shay, looks-wise. Flo is annoyed and says Shay is a great person who is too good for Fabo.

Marlon shows up and asks to speak to Flo alone. They argue because he thinks she’s been at the studio too much. But Flo doesn’t want to hear him out because she feels he shouldn’t complain, given how much he has messed up over the years.

Amara and Eliza hash things out.

Brooke sits down with Amara and Eliza to discuss their beef. Eliza calls Safaree on FaceTime and says they only started messing around after Safaree said he and Amara were done. Safaree says he never told her this, which angers Eliza, who calls him a liar before hanging up.

Amara cries and questions why Eliza would do this when they were friends. Eliza says she thought they were no longer friends because Amara wasn’t around anymore. Amara doesn’t understand why people can’t pick up the phone and tell her they want to see her more instead of hurting her.

Eliza gets up to console Amara. She regrets jeopardizing their friendship for Safaree.

Fabo and Shay are back together.

Emjay updates Shay about Estelita when they see each other at Sandra’s house. She doesn’t want to talk about any of the accusations that were made. She accuses Estelita of being a scammer she will expose one day eventually. And she has no desire to meet with her because she’s been a fake friend despite their bonding in Jamaica.

Eliza confronts Safaree at the gym about his dishonesty. He says she created drama by not doing what she promised to do, which was not telling anyone they were hooking up.

She feels like Safaree lied to sleep with her. When he accidentally calls her Amara, she tells him never to contact her again.

Shay has message for critics of her relationship with Fabo, they can all “suck it.” Turns out they are back together. She no longer cares what other people think, even though it’s hard to accept that her family isn’t fond of Fabo.

Safaree avoids accountability.

Marcus attempts to get Safaree to understand how he’s been moving with women has been messy and causing too many problems. Safaree says he is the real victim because people think he’s a womanizer.

When Marcus tells Safaree it’s time to grow up and take accountability, he stands up and starts quoting R Kelly in his interview with Gayle King before storming off.

Marcus calls Brooke to tell her Safaree didn’t take the meeting seriously, and he’s so confused by his behavior.

  1. Shay you should just accept the fact that you have a brother who loves ❤️ and cares about you. Like you say you grown and can do what you want. I wouldn’t let any man back so easily regardless of how I feel about them 💯. They need to understand that they need to appreciate what they have.
