Toni’s planning to host her sisters.

Toni’s taking the quarantining seriously 7 months into the pandemic. She’s still seriously social distancing but she misses her family. So she’s planning on hosting her sisters in LA.

She calls her dad Michael Sr and learns Towanda’s traveling to Maryland to see him and Traci. That’s good news and she tells him the sisters are coming to LA later on.

Evelyn has a Covid-19 scare.

Meanwhile, in Atlanta, Trina calls her mom Evelyn. She learns Evelyn was exposed to the Coronavirus. Luckily for everyone, Evelyn seemingly didn’t contract the virus. Next, Evelyn learns Trina will be heading out to LA to visit Toni and her other sisters. It will be the first time the sisters are all in the same place since Trina’s wedding, which makes Evelyn happy to hear.

Towanda made it to Maryland to visit her dad. She’s disappointed because she’s unable to hug him. Michael Sr.’s pleased to learn Towanda’s going to visit Traci. She’s moving forward with a positive attitude to visit Traci despite everything that happened at the wedding.

Later on, Toni heads to the studio and it’s her and her sound engineer, Paul. She’s nervous about being in the studio because she’s not sure how seriously they cleaned the sound booth. But she wipes down her headphones and mic and works on finishing songs for her album. During the studio session, her manager Kenneth calls. He’s planning another video set and lets her know how serious the production team will take Covid-19.

Sean gets a blessing.

Back in Maryland, Sean made an undercover trip to talk to Michael Sr. Sean asks Michael for his blessing to marry Towanda. Michael says he doesn’t have to ask for it and welcomes him to the family.

Meanwhile, Towanda and Traci finally meet up. Towanda heads to Traci’s and Traci welcomes her sister into her home. Traci’s cooking fried chicken and collard greens and Towanda’s seemingly disappointed that Traci didn’t get crabs. Traci says this is an example of boundaries and Towanda understands.

They then talk about the happenings at the wedding and Traci’s at peace. Towanda brings up Toni’s plan to host all the sisters in LA and Traci expresses apprehension about the trip. However, it seems she’s going to attend.

Traci warms up to seeing her sisters in LA.

Later on, Traci meets with her therapist virtually and the topic of Toni’s request comes up. Traci’s still unsure about going and her therapist notices that Traci wants to go. But Traci wants assurances she’ll be treated as an actual sister and not the black sheep. She’s also positive, focusing on her grandchildren.

At the end of the session, Traci decides she’s going to go on the trip. So, she flies out to LA and meets up with the sisters at the house Toni rented for them.

Traci meets up with Towanda and Trina. She hugs them both as she misses both of them. They call Toni and Toni tells them they have to quarantine first before she comes over for five days. But after they discuss Birdman flying them all in on private jets, Toni reduces the quarantine time to 3 days.

She then lets them know that her chef friend will head over to the house to cook for them.

Von gives Sean an interesting warning.

Later in the evening, the Braxton trio changed for dinner. They make small talk and enjoy the food Toni’s chef prepared. During dinner, Towanda reveals she suspects Sean will be proposing. Of course, Von proposing in Napa Valley comes up. Interestingly enough, Sean called Von to tell him about his trip to Maryland. Von congratulates Sean on his future proposal and tells him not to propose in front of the sisters, as Tamar was upset after his proposal.

While the girls eat dinner, Toni calls Evelyn and invites her out to LA. Toni offers to fly Evelyn out private and Evelyn accepts the offer.

Traci and Trina have a breakthrough.

After dinner, Traci and Trina talk about what happened after dinner. Traci tells her about what happened at the wedding. Traci says the faces her sisters were making while she was singing with her Dad triggered her.

She then explains to Trina how Tamar approached her in the dressing room and touched her hair, violating her space. She then says Tamar and Towanda blamed Traci for the altercation. Evelyn was upset with Traci which further aggravated her because it seemed like Evelyn was already angry with Traci before hearing her side of the story. She also reveals her relationship with Evelyn isn’t as good as it should be. In fact, Traci says Evelyn treats her differently from the rest of her sisters.

“I just think my mom just have a different relationship with my sisters than me. Our relationship have not been on the fine and up and up.”

Trina is understanding. And she believes that Traci is usually correct in her retelling of things. But she has to work on her delivery.

Trina tells Traci that she hasn’t been treated fairly over the years and Traci thanks her for saying this. It’s like a weight was lifted off her shoulders.
