Ashley and Monique can relate to their marital struggles.

The episode begins with Monique meeting with Ashley and they’re talking about their marriage. They both speak about how they feel like they’re going through similar things within their marriage. They both feel Chris and Quick aren’t truly supportive of the kids and family while at home.

However, they believe that people on the outside view them as ungrateful for what they have with their husbands in their relationships.

Meanwhile, Quick is at his office with his manager Shawn. They even built a makeshift radio studio in the office in an effort to properly social distance. They’re meeting with a representative from HBCU sports conference CIAA to talk about their upcoming tournament coming to Baltimore.

Quick gets major opportunities at a cost.

It’s a major event for Baltimore and this means Quick will be involved with multiple parties. When the CIAA had their tournament and after-parties in Charlotte, he DJ’d so much, that he put himself in the hospital for exhaustion. He’s worried that Ashley won’t be very supportive of him being involved with so many events going down the weekend of the tournament.

As Quick works on his radio show, Monique stops by WPGC. She’s being interviewed to possibly join their morning show team. This is a huge opportunity for Monique and she’s ready to step into it. They bring up past reality television drama. And Monique lets them know that she wants to fully separate herself from her past on Bravo.

She’s also concerned about Chris stepping up for the kids if they move forward with the morning show opportunity.

Kevin explains his side of the story.

Meanwhile, Chris meets with Winter’s estranged husband Kevin. During their lunch, Kevin lets Chris know he received divorce papers just before arriving. He explains that he was accused of taking company money for personal use close to a year into the marriage. He ended up filing bankruptcy because of his drama professionally and it affected his marriage.

Overall, Kevin’s distraught about it all and Chris consoles him the best he can.

Later on, Jamie and Quick meet up with their friend Neal. During their event, it comes up that Jamie and Quick are competing in a way with parties going on at the same time multiple nights during CIAA Weekend. They are coming together and throwing a finale party in Baltimore.

Things get serious when Quick asks how Erana feels with Jamie getting back into the groove of hosting parties. Jamie says Erana doesn’t like it at all.

Quick replies, saying it takes a special woman to be married to men in the nightlife scene.

The next day, Monique’s with her hired chefs as they get ready for a get-together she’s hosting. Chris comes in and recaps the conversation that he had with Kevin. Monique replies to Chris saying Kevin swindled him. She mentions Winter didn’t truly know about Kevin.

Chris and Monique argue at their dinner party.

Before heading to the dinner party, Ashley and Quick are out at the bar when he tells Ashley about the 15 events of the CIAA weekend. Ashley’s concerned about Quick overworking himself and being unable to spend time with the family. Despite this, Ashley will support Quick in taking on this work that weekend. She calls him her best friend.

Eventually, the dinner party begins with Monique’s guests arriving. This includes Neal and Tasha.

Some of the guests are shocked to learn they are having a full vegan, plant-based menu. During the dinner, Monique speaks about an upcoming trip to Africa. During the conversation, Winter doesn’t like how Jamie shushes Erana. This leads to a conversation about how they all had to deal with Covid. Monique brings up how Chris didn’t take of her when she was sick. This angers Chris and it leads to an argument between the Samuels in front of everyone.

Winter doesn’t like the shade thrown by Ashley.

This leads to Jamie and Erana speaking about their marriage. They finally speak about how they overcame battles that included alleged infidelity. Erana emphasizes she never caught him cheating. Everyone has polarizing opinions about this.

Lastly, Winter explains how he found out about some salacious allegations surrounding Kevin and his business. In fact, she hasn’t seen him for six months. Winter took major issue with Kevin because he wasn’t truthful. She really didn’t like how Ashley said Winter should’ve done better vetting her husband.

  1. Monique is out here trying to get divorced – I hope the fame is worth it for her. All marriages have disagreements but hers seems to be one sided. Her mother in law might have been on point when she called her a hussy????????‍♀️. I was a fan until now.

Winter, girl you know your story line is fake. How does a relationship coach not know a man is living with his momma before marrying him?
