Miss Kitty’s exit from the New York show was full of drama.
“Black Ink Crew” star Miss Kitty had a messy departure from the show. Before she left, she was accused of hooking up with Ryan from 9Mag. Ceaser saw this as a betrayal. However, Kitty and Ryan vehemently denied that they messed around. Regardless, Ceaser didn’t believe them. And he decided to fire Kitty anyway. Tired of the tension in and outside of the shop, Charmaine from “Black Ink Crew Chicago” asked Kitty to work at 2nd City Ink. And Kitty accepted. There, Kitty was tasked with helping Charmaine move the business forward after the drama of the pandemic. Eventually, things went left. Charmaine and Kitty’s friendship suffered.
On the show, it seemed as if Kitty and Charmaine fell out because they disagreed over how to run 2nd City Ink. Plus, Charmaine didn’t want Kitty to make hiring and firing decisions.
After they had an explosive disagreement, Charmaine fired Kitty from 2nd City Ink. And she would later tell supporters that their drama was just for TV. Plus, Kitty never actually worked at the shop.
Well, Charmaine decided to exit the show after she was accused of colorism by Draya. Interestingly enough, Kat is on the current season of “Black Ink Crew Compton.” Apparently, some fans may now be a bit confused when they see Kitty in person. And she called them out about this, too.
