Melody Shari has been compared to Sheree Whitfield by LAMH cast members.
“Love & Marriage: Huntsville” star Melody Shari decided to pull the plug on her marriage with Martell Holt a couple of years ago. The last straw for Melody was figuring out that Martell was messing around with his longtime mistress again at the height of the pandemic. After she filed for divorce, Martell confirmed that he impregnated the woman. So Melody is pretty confident that there is no chance of them ever getting back together in the future. Martell had some hope that they could reconcile after Melody invited him and their mothers to vacation with their children in Destin, Florida. However, Melody made it clear to him that it is not happening. And Martell has since moved on to “Real Housewives of Atlanta” OG Sheree Whitfield.
Since Martell and Sheree have confirmed their romance, some of the other LAMH cast members have been making comparisons. Marsau Scott said that Martell dating Sheree is “leveling up.” And he and LaTisha Scott also believe that Melody is actually bothered by the pairing. Marsau and Maurice Scott’s brother even referred to Sheree as “The New Mel.”
These kinds of comments resulted in Melody’s mother Miss Vanessa responding. She made it known that some of the men on “Love & Marriage: Huntsville” should stay out of women’s business. And they were being messy to even make the comparisons.
Melody Shari clapped back at the comparisons.
As for Melody, she called out LaTisha and Marsau on Twitter for their comments. And at this point, she really thinks that people are just trying to pit her against Sheree. Melody said she has nothing bad to say about Sheree. Sheree is a beautiful woman and she divorced Martell because she no longer wants to be with him. So the comparisons are unnecessary. She also said that Marsau and LaTisha spend way too much time discussing her and Martell on the show. Melody doesn’t seem to think they have an actual storyline outside of gossiping about her and Martell.
Interestingly enough, it seems as if there have been more changes in Melody’s life that have not been addressed on the show as of yet. It’s been rumored for the last few days that Melody may have a new man in her life. And he’s making her very happy.

In fact, she posted about being happy on Instagram Story. She wrote, “Manifested that thang…and it’s been up since. Thanks #cloud9.”
Melody recently released a new single called, “Cloud 9.” And it’s already having a strong start on iTunes. She also bought a billboard in Huntsville and Times Square to promote her new music.
As fans began to speculate, a couple of Melody’s cousins confirmed she has a boo on Facebook. One of her cousins wrote, “Baby I couldn’t wait til this news got out cause a couple of y’all had my girl ducked up like she was pressed bout her ex!!!! 🥰 🥰 🥰”
Another cousin responded, “Real ducked up okay!!”
The cousin who wrote the first comment then added, “And we sooo happy for them!! She’s being treated like a princess as she should! ❤️”
After a “Love & Marriage: Huntsville” fan said they would have to see it to believe it first, Melody’s cousin responded, “I wouldn’t pop out until I popped out married 🤷🏽♀️. But I can assure you he’s everything she deserves and more…. And he FINE! I’m sooooo happy for her! ❤️ It’s good to see her this happy!”

Well, it looked like Martell needed Melody. He couldn’t even pass a dam test without her smarts. It looks like she brought a lot to the table. Her sense of business is the best storyline, yet. I wish LAMH would focus on that.

Agreed, All but Kimmie. The 2 of them have the most common sense, and class as far as I am concerned. Destiny, LaTisha, are so jealous of Mel, you can see it exude on screen. Tisha should concentrate on herself, and maybe her independence, as I see another side of Marsau that I have not picked up on until of late. I will wait and see at the reunion. Masau really knows how to work Tisha. She believes everything he tells her. Obviously he us cheating and deep down Tisha knows it. H ow you gone tell your wife you were out with A Friend having dinner, or that wasn’t you in the photo with A woman, or you took a trip to Africa alone. Man Please! And the way he manipulates her. La tisha needs to open her eyes and really check out these stories about her husband, because we all know there is truth even in made up stories.
